This is another picture I have wanted to take for years and it was hard to find one in good order and not be in a moving bus. I will print this one and hang it as well.

The gates where locked and closed today but the story made us feel as though we were there as the Mothers once stormed on this very place asking for the fate of the queen. On the other side of this palace you see a different side of the queen that she was only an innocent child when she became queen.

May 27 Normandy, France Day 15  Normandy!! This a beautiful place to be and to remember. To see so many young people at this sight and know that 75 years before many of the young people that traveled to this same great place, sadly, never left.
